“When you stepped into this resort property you feel like you're in Europe, or the Alps. The staff is very friendly. The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was 2 tv's in the room, one in the living area and one in front of the bed which was nice and cozy. We came during off season, but this resort is great if you want to get away from most of the crowd and feel secluded. We went to Angel Fire Resort to do the Scenic Chairlift Ride. Angel Fire is bigger area with more restaurants close by. There were more people and it felt very commercial. So, I'm very happy we stayed in Alpine Village Suites.”

Alpine Village Suites is a family-owned lodge at the base of Taos Ski Valley — steps from the lifts in winter, surrounded by hiking and biking trails in summer. Choose from suites for a couple's getaway or standalone mountain homes for the whole family.
After a day on the mountain, soak in the outdoor hot tub, warm up in the dry sauna, or book a massage at the main lodge. Every room has a kitchenette or full kitchen, and pets are welcome at no extra hassle — just a $20/night pet fee.

- Suites: Studios and suites for 2 to 6 guests at the main lodge. Most have a gas fireplace, and many have a private balcony.
- Lofts: Two-level suites for 4 to 6 guests, with a sleeping loft up a steep ladder.
- Cottam's Lodge: Studios for 2 to 6 guests in a quieter setting 1.5 miles from the ski area.
- Mountain Homes: Four standalone homes for 6 to 10 guests, each with a full kitchen. The Mountain Chalet and Mountain House have private hot tubs.
Amenities & Comforts
The outdoor hot tub, dry sauna, and massage room at the main lodge are open to every guest, including those staying at Cottam's Lodge. Wi-Fi is free throughout both properties.

I guess this was off season (we didn’t care as we were traveling to another destination during these dates), but my husband had never been to Taos, so we chose Taos Ski Valley as a midpoint. The front desk ladies were so cheery and informative. Our room accommodated our lab as well. We might have found our midpoint stop for the rest of our lives.”
