Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability.

What is the check-in process?

You may pull onto the brick driveway in front of our lobby to unload. Our front desk is open from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Please contact us in advance to schedule an after-hours check-in.

What if no one is at the front desk?

If no one is available at the front desk, please call us at 575-776-8540.

Reservations and Cancellations

What are your hours of operation?

Our front desk is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you plan to arrive outside of these hours, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

How do I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation online on this website or by calling our front desk at 575-776-8540.

Do you offer military discounts?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount to active military personnel.

How can I extend my reservation?

Please contact us to inquire about extending your reservation.

Can I reserve the same room as last year?

To request a specific room, please contact our front desk directly.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • Winter reservations require 30 days notice for a full refund.
  • Summer and Fall reservations require 2 days notice for a full refund.

A $25 booking fee applies to all canceled reservations. Any unused nights after check-in will be charged in full. Learn more about our policies.

Amenities and Services

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Do you have a hot tub?

Yes, we have a hot tub available for guest use. Our hot tub is open from 8 AM to 10 PM daily.

Is there a fitness center available?

We do not have a fitness center on-site.

Do you offer massaage and spa services?

Yes, we offer massage and spa services. To book a service, please contact the front desk at least 24 hours in advance. A $75 fee will be charged for cancellations or no-shows without proper notice.

Is there a common grill area?

Yes, there is a grill available for guests to use on our outdoor patio, located on the fourth floor of Alpine Village Suites.

Do you have ski storage?

Yes, we provide complimentary ski and snowboard storage for all guests.

Is there a restaurant on-site?

While we don't have an on-site restaurant, there are several dining options within walking distance.

Parking

Is parking available?

Alpine Village Suites does not provide on-site parking. Guests can use the free public parking lot across the street. On the other hand, Cottam's Lodge and our vacation homes offer complimentary on-site parking.

Pet Policy

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we welcome pets! There is a charge of $20 per night per pet (max of 2 pets).

Rooms and Accommodations

What types of rooms do you offer?

We offer a a variety of affordable suites and vacation homes to suit your needs.

Do you have rooms suitable for large families?

Yes, we have several options for large families:

The Mountain Chalet and The Mountain House are our largest accommodations, both featuring 4 bedrooms with a capacity of 10 guests, including our pullout queen sleeper sofas. Most units feature sofa beds for additional sleeping space.

Are kitchenettes available in the rooms?

Many of our suites come equipped with kitchenettes, typically including a mini-fridge, microwave, and basic cooking utensils.

Do the rooms have balconies?

Some of our rooms have balconies. Please specify this preference when booking if it's important to you.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?

Due to our high mountain location, we typically don't need air conditioning. However, we provide fans for warmer days in the summer.

Are there coffee makers in the rooms?

Yes, all of our rooms have a coffee maker with coffee provided. Coffee is also available in our lobby.

What is the elevation of Taos Ski Valley?

The base area of Taos Ski Valley is situated at 9,350 feet above sea level.

How far is Alpine Village Suites from downtown Taos?

We are 19 miles from downtown Taos, about a 35-minute drive away.

When is ski season?

Taos Ski Valley is usually open for skiing from late November to early April, weather permitting.

Can I rent ski equipment at the hotel?

While we don't rent equipment on-site, we can direct you to trusted rental shops very close to the hotel.

What should I do if I've lost an item?
